## Current status

### Requested 1.9.1 release and visible What's New verification

- Owner requested another version/release PR after 1.9.0 merged but was not
published to phones. This is a new version/card entry, not a claim that another
feature implementation is needed or that a version bump publishes an OTA.
- Prepare 1.9.1 with four concrete learning benefits, retaining the existing
modal and per-version dismissal. Runtime stays 1.3.0; 1.9.0 highlights remain.
- Intended commits: matching app version/card, then verification and handoff.
Production release stays separate from the backend deployment confirmation.
- `3feaed4` adds the requested version and highlights. Node 24 typecheck and all
39 tests passed. Clean Android/iOS/web exports passed; mocked browser checks
in both themes confirmed four highlights for 1.8.0/1.9.0 upgrades and persistent
dismissal after reload. Preview screenshots were inspected.
- Initial web verification exposed stale local Metro version metadata; clearing
the shared build cache produced the correct 1.9.1 manifest. No app behavior
was changed to compensate for a local cache. Physical OTA remains untested
until backend verification and publication. Preparation PR #204.
