Summary

• Initialize the workshop store and its per-process schema cache during worker startup.
• Keep startup ordering ahead of conference mapping loads and request handling.
• Prevent concurrent first requests from triggering schema checks and DDL in the same SQLite database.

Validation

• Python syntax compilation and git diff --check passed.
• Production run on 9e943e3 improved to p95 1,489ms with 7 requests over 2s; remaining tail was concentrated in join preflight, indicating first-connection setup still happened lazily in one worker.
• CI will run the full test suite.
