Description
Introduce explicit timeout handling for dashboard requests to the listener API.
Acceptance Criteria
API requests have a defined timeout.
Timeout failures produce a user-friendly state.
Requests do not remain pending indefinitely.
Timeout behaviour is covered by tests.
