Note

⏳ Draft · slice 1 of #80 (Antigravity host) · head 5373be9

Problem

  • Where: scripts/super-board-host.sh, scripts/super-board-setup.py, docs/hosts.md
    • a. type /super-board run inside a Google Antigravity (agy) session
    • b. the host check finds no sign and exits 65, or, under a Claude parent, answers claude
  • Who: anyone whose daily host is Antigravity; a Claude user launching an agy lane
  • What happened: super-board knows three hosts; Antigravity is not one of them, so a run cannot even name where it is

Solution

  • super-board-host.sh answers agy on ANTIGRAVITY_AGENT=1, the variable the agy CLI (1.4.6) exports into every shell its run_command runs; checked after the Codex ids and OPENCODE, before CLAUDECODE, which leaks into a lane started from Claude
  • SUPER_BOARD_HOST=agy and the config's top-level host: "agy" are accepted; setup's check accepts it and still flags anything else
  • docs/hosts.md gets the agy row, the detection step and the env evidence; onboard, run-workflow and the schema name the host. No lane backend in this slice: a run on agy halts like opencode, with the same one-line request
  • Docs: docs/hosts.md, config-schema.json, onboard.md, run-workflow.md, README's hosts line

Acceptance criteria

  • ANTIGRAVITY_AGENT=1 → agy; ANTIGRAVITY_AGENT=1 CLAUDECODE=1 → agy; a Codex id or SUPER_BOARD_HOST still wins
↳ verified: tests/test-host.sh (new cases), before: exit 65 / claude, after: agy
  • Only the sign counts: ANTIGRAVITY_CONVERSATION_ID alone or an empty ANTIGRAVITY_AGENT still exits 65
    ↳ verified: tests/test-host.sh nohost cases
  • Config host: "agy" prints agy when no env sign is present and loses to an env sign
    ↳ verified: tests/test-host.sh config cases
  • super-board-setup.py check accepts host: "agy" and flags host: "gemini" naming the four values
↳ verified: tests/test-setup.sh scenario 13, and by hand on Windows (host_errors = {} / host "gemini" must be one of claude, codex, opencode, agy)
  • Every accepted host has a row in docs/hosts.md
    ↳ verified: tests/test-hosts-doc.sh → PASS (4 hosts)
  • End-to-end with this stack installed from the branches (install.sh --hosts agy --protect-main), agy 1.4.6 / gemini-3.8-flash on Windows 11, 2026-10-23: card feat: dynamic-workflow worker backend (worker_backend: "workflow") #3 of the playground went Ready → Done, ✨ [feat] cart: clearCart empties the cart and drops its discount danielegaleazzi92/super-board-agy-playground#4 (squash cc1b8ef), Build 8.5 min, QA + Review 19 min, every lane returning a valid structured result. The one lane that failed in between was denied on its first command because agy had rewritten its own settings file with a UTF-8 BOM and loaded no permissions from it; the helper now strips it (✨ [feat] install: guard hooks and permissions for Antigravity (agy) #82).

Iteration history

Lane Done Time Details
🔨 author ✅ Oct 23 5373be9 · test-host.sh, test-hosts-doc.sh green on Git Bash; test-setup.sh scenario 13 by hand (see note below)

Risk

🟢 Low · one more branch in the host check and one more accepted value; claude, codex and opencode paths are untouched.

  • Door: two-way · revert the PR and the host check is exactly as before
  • Blast radius: super-board-host.sh callers (install, run, onboard) · nobody breaks: an Antigravity shell that used to exit 65 now halts with a named host

Part of #80 (slice 1 of 4). Evidence for the sign: cmd /c set run by run_command inside a headless agy -p on agy 1.4.6, Windows 11, 2026-10-23.

Note on tests: this was written on Windows Git Bash, where test-setup.sh and test-install.sh fail on main before any change (test-setup.sh hands a Windows path to bash and the backslashes vanish; test-install.sh needs symlink rights), and test-card.sh, test-cleanup-wt.sh and test-codex-lane.sh fail or hang here too, all in areas this PR does not touch. The suites this PR changes pass; the CI matrix is the check for the rest.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

…g host

- super-board-host.sh answers agy on ANTIGRAVITY_AGENT=1 (observed on agy 1.4.6), after the Codex ids and OPENCODE, before CLAUDECODE; SUPER_BOARD_HOST and config host take agy
- setup check accepts host agy; schema, onboard and run-workflow name it (no lane backend yet: the run halts like opencode)
- docs/hosts.md: agy row, detection step and env evidence; tests for the sign, the override, the config key and the empty/id-only cases
