Tres tonos de gris oscuro compitiendo se leen como suciedad y no como jerarquia: sobre negro las diferencias chicas de luminosidad se perciben como manchas. Ahora toda la sala comparte un negro y la separacion entre zonas la hacen las lineas y el espacio. Los colores de agentes eran cuatro naranjas casi identicos, y uno repetia el de una persona: con dos agentes en la sala no se sabia cual hablaba. Ahora la gente tiene una familia y los agentes otra. Fuera el grano: sobre el azul de antes se leia como textura, sobre negro se lee como una pantalla sucia.
