Run locally

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/Glorious21/CampusCore.git
   cd CampusCore

2. Install backend dependencies:

   cd Backend
   npm install

3. Create Backend/.env and add your MongoDB connection string:

   MONGODB_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string
   PORT=3000

4. Start the app:

   npm start

5. Open http://localhost:3000.

Deploy on Render

Create a Render Web Service connected to this repository, then use:

Build Command: cd Backend && npm ci
Start Command: cd Backend && npm start

In Render's environment variables, add MONGODB_URI with your MongoDB Atlas connection string. Do not commit .env files or credentials.
