This is a workflow-only bump: cycjimmy/semantic-release-action v7.1.2 → v8.1.0. I checked that the pinned SHA matches the upstream tag. v8's only breaking change is a hard minimum of semantic-release ≥20 when semantic_version is pinned. This workflow does not pin semantic_version, so the change does not apply. Between v7.1.2 and v8.1.0, the action's bundled dependencies (semantic-release ^25.0.9, @semantic-release/git, changelog) and its node24 runtime are byte-identical. The other changes are bug fixes for package-manager shims and for extends/working_directory resolution, and this repo uses neither. Release-notes rendering is unaffected, because preset resolution still comes from the same extra_plugins or bundled tree as before. The release step itself cannot be exercised before merge. This repo uses the action without extra_plugins, so it runs the bundled tree. That tree is unchanged from v7.1.2.
