The mouse oracle could capture a content-bearing frame before queued input was processed. Replace fixed completion sleeps with bounded monotonic pixel/decoded-label waits, checked input/tool exits and live UI acknowledgements in the disposable QA app. Production behavior, all 16 pixel thresholds/checks and all three actual pause/pan/mode fault controls remain intact; the runtime pin stays v0.43.0.

Validation:

  • Real reset delayed 2s: unchanged baseline fails its named reset assertion; candidate passes 16/16. Delay past the deadline remains named red. The historical one-in-seven cause is unproved.
  • Exact v0.43.0 gfx full wrapper: 16/16 clean assertions plus three required named fault kills.
  • 20 consecutive full wrappers under two owned CPU loads: every rc0; 320 clean assertions and 60 correctly named fault kills. Both CPU workers reaped; no orbit/atlas app leftovers. Loaded runtime 983c347, binary SHA256 95f2e07cd9b66f201efc5655bfadfcebc0834d716e76430d980c88098574629b.
  • Pinned and current-main trajectory gates pass: 201-line trajectories match across headless/UI/pan runs; the real history-limit fault is caught.
  • Actual-wrapper inert calibration: 25/25, including duplicate/missing rows or markers, wrong fault identity/status and missing sort/wc. Three real tool-error controls each return rc2 with ERROR.

Frozen candidate: Python SHA256 e695a5d3d6c254ddaaf6543b13133c0bdc2f26bd73380a83585db2d5e4c88812; shell SHA256 476f65f360fdd86ef3fb9e7e77ad8d77e688c5313546e1eb4ece365f3ff737d4.

Closes #43

Replace fixed completion delays with bounded condition waits and checked tool exits. Require live disposable-app acknowledgements and exact wrapper assertion/fault populations.

Validation: 20/20 consecutive full wrappers under two CPU loads, 320 clean checks and 60 named fault kills; pinned gfx 16/16 plus 3 fault kills. Real delayed reset baseline red/candidate green; 25/25 wrapper controls and 3/3 real infrastructure error controls. Pinned and main trajectory gates green. Original historical intermittent failure remains unattributed.
