Stockfish API

A simple REST API wrapper for the Stockfish Chess Engine, built with FastAPI and Uvicorn.

Features

• Get best move from a FEN position
• Get best move from a list of moves (UCI format)
• Get top N moves (multipv)
• Automatically utilizes multi-threading and hash tables for performance optimization

API Endpoints

• GET / - Root status
• POST /api/bestmove - Get best move from FEN
• POST /api/bestmove_from_moves - Get best move from array of moves
• POST /api/top_moves - Get top N moves from FEN

Deployment

Managed as a systemd service running locally on port 8533 behind Cloudflare Tunnel at chess.indrayuda.my.id.
