MAGNETO is an astrophysical code written in Python, to simulate the activity of Magnetars, using the Monte Carlo method.

This version (v2.0) of MAGNETO includes physics like:

• Flare interval evolution
• Flare energy evolution

• Modular programming

MAGNETO v2: Flare interval+ Energy evolution

This is a major release of MAGNETO. There are many major improvements, which include:

• Energy evolution functionality
• Modular code
• Parameter input parsing

MAGNETO v1: Exponential

This is the first release of MAGNETO.

This version includes the following astrophysics apsects of Magnetars:

• Flare interval simulation
• Flare interval – Age analysis

Future plans (for MAGNETO v2) include:
