👋 Jules, reporting for duty! I'm here to lend a hand with this pull request. When you start a review, I'll add a 👀 emoji to each comment to let you know I've read it. I'll focus on feedback directed at me and will do my best to stay out of conversations between you and other bots or reviewers to keep the noise down. I'll push a commit with your requested changes shortly after. Please note there might be a delay between these steps, but rest assured I'm on the job! 💡 What: Refactored
AdaptiveCacheEngine.ktto track the cachesizeByteswith a runningAtomicLonginstead of calculating it viastore.values.sumOf { it.sizeBytes }.🎯 Why: The
sumOfmethod was iterating over the entireConcurrentHashMapinsidedynamicCapacity, which was called bytrimToCapacity()on everyput(). This was making cache insertion cost O(N) per item, creating O(N²) overall insertion times as the cache grew, leading to UI stutters during infinite scrolls.📊 Impact: Reduces dynamic capacity calculation from O(N) to O(1).
🔬 Measurement: Benchmarking the cache under high volume data flow will show significantly smoother UI rendering and less main thread blocking.
