What changed

  • turn the existing Markdown knowledge base into a polished Jekyll blog
  • add a responsive home page, six category pages, archive, search, dark mode, RSS, sitemap, and article navigation
  • add an official GitHub Pages Actions deployment workflow
  • repair legacy front matter, Liquid-like code examples, and broken internal links that prevented a clean static build

Why

The repository previously worked as a Markdown index only. This makes all 147 articles available as a searchable, mobile-friendly blog at the repository's GitHub Pages URL while preserving the existing content structure.

Validation

  • Jekyll production build completed successfully
  • generated 157 HTML files and 147 search-index entries
  • verified RSS and sitemap XML
  • checked all generated internal links: 0 broken
  • validated desktop and 390 px mobile layouts in a browser
  • verified search, article TOC, mobile navigation, and light/dark themes with no console errors
