Summary

Share repeated client, patch and service test construction while preserving the original inputs and independent observations.

Changes

  • Use native deferred promises and named mounted-client outcome rows; share Fork actions without combining different fixtures or client boundaries.
  • Consolidate locator and parser refusals, preserving both cursor-probe pairs, error sentinels/prefixes and the two standalone EOF-metadata tests.
  • Share atomic-publication fault rows and PID-recording LSP setup; reuse existing managed-environment and version helpers while keeping process/reap and filesystem assertions explicit.
  • Remove 260 net test lines across eight files, with no production changes.

Verification

  • Old-case and observation maps preserve the original scenarios at their existing boundaries.
  • Delete-envelope, Unicode-matching and destructive-cleanup mutations fail both original and consolidated tests, then are restored.
  • Wails build and binding check; separate full Go and race suites; vet, formatting and lint; frontend tests (510 passed, one skipped); protocol freshness/typecheck; installer tests.

Limits

No production behavior change, dependency, fixture framework, cross-package test migration or removal of real filesystem, process, terminal, frame, DOM or native-boundary observations.
