- Navigate to the backend directory.
- Restore dependencies.
dotnet restore- Configure the JWT signing key using ASP.NET Core User Secrets.
The JWT signing key is stored using ASP.NET Core User Secrets and is not included in the repository.
Initialize User Secrets:
dotnet user-secrets initSet the JWT signing key:
dotnet user-secrets set "Jwt:Key" "YOUR_JWT_SECRET"The project uses SQL Server LocalDB with Windows authentication.
The connection string is configured in appsettings.json and does not contain any credentials.
- Apply the database migrations.
dotnet ef database update- Start the API.
dotnet run- Open another terminal.
- Navigate to the frontend directory.
cd task-management-client- Install the dependencies and start the application.
npm install
ng serve- Open the Angular application in your browser.
