Adds a runnable example that connects a self-hosted Codex Session to anonymous Parallel Search MCP. Copy the included Plugin into the executor workspace, select it through
capability_directories, and run the Session creation script with your Core Project key and Responses model provider. Search and page fetch need no Parallel API key or Vault. Existing provider defaults and saved Agents are unchanged. The Plugin uses the supported HTTP MCP transport with an OpenAgentCore example User-Agent. This example targets Codex because the Claude and MiniMax adapters reject its literal HTTP header. Free MCP access has rate limits; model inference is configured separately.
Validated the documented SDK installation in a clean environment and Session creation through the public API. The real daemon and pinned Codex executed search and fetch with a synthetic Responses model; live anonymous calls returned repository search excerpts and fetched page content. A controlled MCP fixture checked the actual User-Agent and absence of Authorization on discovery and tool calls. Name and documentation checks passed. Real-model acceptance was not run.
