Code Review Roast 🔥Verdict: No Issues Found | Recommendation: Merge Oh wait, the incremental commit is clean too. I need to sit down — twice in one PR. I had the flamethrower refuelled and everything. The one-line change at CodeRabbit's Two earlier findings stay closed, so nobody has to relitigate them:
Verification note: this is a static read-only pass. I read the changed lines and the surrounding extractor logic; I did not execute the test suite. 📊 Overall: Like a sniper who noticed the crosshair was one click off and just... adjusted it. No speeches, no drama, one line and a test. Someone frame this commit. Files Reviewed (2 files)

- Around line 704-705: Update the fragment rewrite using self.anchor_slugs to
URL-decode each captured fragment before lookup, and use the decoded fragment’s
mapped slug when it matches; otherwise preserve the original fragment in the
output.
- Around line 693-697: Update the slug assignment logic using self.slug_counts
and self.anchor_slugs so each generated heading slug is unique, including when a
heading’s base already matches a previously generated suffixed slug. Advance the
duplicate suffix until the candidate slug is unused before assigning it to the
heading IDs.

elements inside headings are converted to spaces rather than newlines before
deriving the slug, ensuring the emitted heading and anchor both resolve to first

In-page "On this page" links in synced documents break whenever upstream renames its anchor ids, because the converter copies
#idhrefs verbatim while dropping the ids, so the links never match the Markdown headings.Refs #781
Changes
HTMLContentExtractorrecords each heading'sid/name(on the heading tag or any element inside it, such as<a name="employee">) and maps it to the GitHub-style slug of the heading text, with-1,-2suffixes for repeated headings.#idlinks to a recorded heading are rewritten to that slug; links to unrecorded ids are left unchanged.html_selectorpages and BC Laws (bclaws) pages both get it.EXTRACTOR_VERSIONgoes from1to2, so the next--syncdoes a full fetch and rewrites every web-sourced document. Until that sync runs,--checkreports "Extraction inputs changed" for those sources, as designed."2".What changes for the app
After the next sync, table-of-contents links jump to the right section. For example, the criminal notification page's
#employeebecomes#employee-responsibility, and BC Laws#section1becomes#definitions. This PR changes no data files. A local--syncproduced the same anchors thatmainalready has for the criminal notification page, so #781's hand-synced anchors would become broken links.Verification
