I'm building practical skills in IT support, Windows and Linux administration, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting through hands-on labs, structured learning, and portfolio projects.
I have completed the CourseCareers Information Technology program and am currently working through the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate. My long-term goal is to develop toward cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) while continuing to strengthen my technical foundation.
- Building and documenting hands-on IT and cybersecurity projects
- Strengthening Windows and Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Developing practical networking, PowerShell, and cybersecurity knowledge
- Continuing my Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate
- Gradually building knowledge in cybersecurity GRC
Built a Windows 11 Pro virtual machine in Oracle VirtualBox to practice common entry-level Help Desk and Windows administration tasks, including:
- Local user and administrator account management
- Least privilege and User Account Control
- TCP/IP and DNS troubleshooting
- Windows Event Viewer
- Windows Services and Print Spooler troubleshooting
- Device Manager and Disk Management
- Windows Update and Windows Security
- Basic PowerShell administration
- VirtualBox snapshots and recovery
Project outcome: Completed and documented a Windows 11 Help Desk lab demonstrating practical system administration, troubleshooting, security fundamentals, and recovery procedures.

Built and configured an Ubuntu Server 26.04.1 LTS virtual machine in Oracle VirtualBox to develop hands-on Linux administration, access control, security configuration, and troubleshooting skills.
Key activities included:
- Ubuntu Server installation, configuration, and system verification
- Linux command-line navigation and file management
- User and group administration
- File ownership, permissions, and least privilege
- Shared directory access and setgid group inheritance
- Package management and system monitoring
- System service management using
systemctl - System and authentication log investigation using
journalctl - UFW firewall configuration and SSH access restrictions
- Controlled service interruption, troubleshooting, and recovery
- Final system-health verification and VirtualBox recovery checkpoints
Project outcome: Completed seven technical phases and documented the results through a comprehensive GitHub README, six annotated technical evidence screenshots, and verified recovery checkpoints.
