Original OpenCCU rootfs patch: 0193
Original filename: 0193-WebUI-EnhancedTRVSettingsPage.patch
Original patch: https://github.com/OpenCCU/OpenCCU/blob/5cf0d3573/buildroot-external/package/openccu-base/rootfs-patches/0193-WebUI-EnhancedTRVSettingsPage.patch (as fixed by OpenCCU/OpenCCU#4444)
Original changes: OpenCCU/OpenCCU@67828ca2e (OpenCCU/OpenCCU#2919, OpenCCU/OpenCCU#2893) and OpenCCU/OpenCCU@798a3c681 (settings page of HmIP-eTRV-C)
Fixes before migration: OpenCCU/OpenCCU#4444 (valve percentage options, TEMPERATURE_OFFSET guard and table rows), found in the review of this PR

HmIP-eTRV-B, -B1, -C, -C-2 and -CL have their own settings pages, while the other thermostats use the common HEATING_CLIMATECONTROL_TRANSCEIVER page. This applies the patch 1:1 and unifies them:

  • src/webui/www/config/easymodes/hmip/hmip-etrv-{b,b1,c,c-2,cl}_1_master.tcl are removed. ic_deviceparameters.cgi then falls back from $ch_paramid.tcl to $ch_descr(TYPE).tcl, i.e. HEATING_CLIMATECONTROL_TRANSCEIVER.tcl, which calls getHeatingClimateControlTransceiver(). Nothing else references the removed files. hmip-etrv_1_master.tcl (first generation) is not affected.
  • src/webui/www/config/easymodes/etc/hmipChannelConfigDialogs.tcl (getHeatingClimateControlTransceiver()): the window open temperature (heating/cooling) becomes a selection from 5.0 to 30.0 °C. The page gains the parameters of the removed pages, each only if the device has it: TEMPERATUREFALL_MODUS/_VALUE/_WINDOW_OPEN_TIME_PERIOD, VALVE_ERROR_RUN_POSITION, VALVE_MAXIMUM_POSITION, VALVE_OFFSET, DECALCIFICATION_WEEKDAY/_TIME, BOOST_POSITION and BOOST_AFTER_WINDOW_OPEN (some only in expert mode). TEMPERATURE_OFFSET moves to that block and is only shown if the channel has it. The percentage options of the valve parameters are built from integer steps ($i / 100.0, 0 % to 100 %), so the stored value is always selected, and each optional table row is opened and closed once (fix(webui): select the valve positions of the eTRV settings page correctly OpenCCU#4444).
  • In the same function, ACOUSTIC_ALARM_SIGNAL now calls getCheckBox with the argument order of uiElements.tcl (param value chn prn). The old order (type param value prn) only matched the getCheckBox override of the removed pages; the other callers of this function (HEATING_CLIMATECONTROL_TRANSCEIVER.tcl and hmip-wth_1_master.tcl) do not override it.
  • src/webui/www/config/easymodes/MASTER_LANG/HEATINGTHERMOSTATE_2ND_GEN.js: stringTableBoostPosition becomes "Boost-Ventilöffnungsgrad"/"Boost valve opening".

All translations used by the new parameters already exist here. Line endings and encodings are preserved, including the whitespace-only lines of the original patch. The root www/ copies are unused legacy files and are left unchanged.

Other OpenCCU rootfs patches also modify hmipChannelConfigDialogs.tcl (0119 and 0155). They still apply with zero fuzz.

Validation

  • The patch applies to this repository's sources with zero fuzz. hmipChannelConfigDialogs.tcl is a complete Tcl script (info complete) and identical to the fixed rootfs patch 0193 on OpenCCU master applied to main; node --check passes for HEATINGTHERMOSTATE_2ND_GEN.js.
  • With get_ComboBox2 and the new valve options, the stored values 0.000000, 0.300000, 0.5, 0.850000, 1.000000 and 0.07 are selected as 0 %, 30 %, 50 %, 85 %, 100 % and 7 % (101 options).
  • OpenCCU scripts/base-patch-migration.py validate with the canonical Buildroot 2026.08 git4 archive of this branch (57d764c9, sha256 824586a7e08958d51458dc1d3b047a4887f332e62696867fb7bc7c11697af60e) and --skip-patch 0193, on OpenCCU master 5cf0d3573 (current pin 6d7d79f3): PASS (the other 52 rootfs patches apply with zero fuzz).
  • compare against a validation of the current pin 6d7d79f3 with all 53 patches (including the fixed 0193 from fix(webui): select the valve positions of the eTRV settings page correctly OpenCCU#4444): IDENTICAL (4666 entries).

OpenCCU cleanup PR (removing patch 0193 and updating the pin): OpenCCU/OpenCCU#4445

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Heating thermostat settings now include controls for temperature-fall behavior, open-window timing, valve positions and offsets, and decalcification scheduling.
    • Expert settings include boost-position selection and an option to boost after a window opens.
    • Window-open temperature settings offer choices from 5°C to 30°C in 0.5°C steps.
  • Changes
    • Setup screens for several HmIP radiator thermostat models have been removed.
    • Boost valve labels now clarify that they refer to the boost valve opening.

This applies OpenCCU rootfs patch 0193-WebUI-EnhancedTRVSettingsPage.patch:

- Remove the device-specific settings pages of HmIP-eTRV-B, -B1, -C,
-C-2 and -CL (hmip-etrv-*_1_master.tcl), so these devices use the
common HEATING_CLIMATECONTROL_TRANSCEIVER page like other thermostats.
- Extend getHeatingClimateControlTransceiver() with the parameters of
these pages: window open temperature as a selection, temperature fall
  mode/value/time, valve error/maximum/offset position, decalcification
day and time, boost position and boost after window open (expert
parameters are only shown in expert mode).
- Call getCheckBox with the argument order of uiElements.tcl for
ACOUSTIC_ALARM_SIGNAL. The old order matched only the getCheckBox
  override of the removed pages.
- Label the boost valve opening as such.

📝 Walkthrough

The shared HmIP channel dialog gained thermostat configuration controls. Five device-specific thermostat EasyMode Tcl files were deleted. German and English boost-position labels now identify the boost valve opening.

- Line 3276: Update the valve percentage loop and the VALVE_OFFSET loop to
iterate over integer values from 0 through 100, deriving each option value by
dividing by 100.0. Ensure both selectors include the 100% option without relying
on repeated floating-point increments.
- Line 3305: Guard the offset row in the channel configuration rendering flow so
`get_ComboBox` is called for `TEMPERATURE_OFFSET` only when
`ps(TEMPERATURE_OFFSET)` exists. Preserve rendering of `VALVE_OFFSET` whenever
`ps(VALVE_OFFSET)` exists, and emit the table row only when at least one offset
parameter is present.

This applies the fix of OpenCCU/OpenCCU#4444, as found in the review of
this PR:

- Build the percentage options of VALVE_ERROR_RUN_POSITION,
  VALVE_MAXIMUM_POSITION and VALVE_OFFSET from integer steps (i / 100.0),
so that all values from 0 % to 100 % exist and the stored value is
  selected.
- Show TEMPERATURE_OFFSET only if the channel has this parameter.
- Open and close the table rows of the optional parameters once.
