App detected my device model - OpenPDroid not working? #17
Description
A few days ago I installed the Amazon Shop App and disabled all access rights for in in PDroidManager. I figured out, that even though I did this, Amazon can tell me that I own a Xperia tipo. Is this an error or does PDroid not protect this information?!

http://developer.android.com/reference/android/os/Build.html MANUFACTURER and MODEL are not modified by OpenPDroid.
I do not know any use case for leaking this information to applications. Do anyone of you know any use case?
They should be changed to generic names.
Leaking them to applications is counterproductive as they could be used instead of feature detection.
