Release 0.6.3 passed build and eight wheel/sdist install checks, but the pinned publisher rejected metadata 2.5 before upload (run 34271608031). Pin upstream v1.14.2 (verified commit dc37677), which updates Twine to 7 specifically for metadata 2.5. Keep validation, attestations, environment, least-privilege permissions and all release gates unchanged. Prepare 0.6.4 without moving the existing 0.6.3 tag, and document the failed release. Local verification: 196 tests passed, Ruff and mypy (65 source files) passed; isolated wheel/sdist builds and Twine checks passed.
