Status: **built 2026-10-07** against Event Logger 2.0.0's contract (`docs/store.md`). Sections 1–7 describe what is built; section 10 is the CLI as it is. The
overall plan is DirXMLDevWeb's `docs/event-logger.md`; this note is the core's half (C1 there).
workbench's half is DirXMLDevWeb's Events view (its `docs/features.md`); the two steps left from
the overall plan, the logger as a catalog package and a Library resource for capturing samples at
a stage, are DirXMLDevWeb issues #164 and #165.

The store is the PostgreSQL table the
[DirXMLEventLogger](https://github.com/jcombs-pointblue/DIrXMLEventLogger) driver writes:
