Changes

Adds documentation for the new Vultr data warehouse source implemented in PostHog/posthog#70023.

New file: contents/docs/cdp/sources/vultr.md

What's documented

  • Prerequisites – Vultr account with API access and personal access token
  • Setup instructions – Step-by-step guide for obtaining the API key from the Vultr customer portal, including notes about IP access control allowlisting
  • Sync modes – All 10 tables use full refresh (Vultr API has no updated-since filter or webhooks)
  • Supported tables – Auto-rendered via <SourceTables /> component from canonical_descriptions.py:
    • instances – Cloud compute and GPU instances (VMs)
    • bare_metals – Bare metal (dedicated) servers
    • kubernetes_clusters – VKE managed clusters
    • block_storage – Block storage volumes
    • snapshots – Instance snapshots
    • load_balancers – Load balancers
    • managed_databases – MySQL, PostgreSQL, Valkey, Kafka
    • users – Sub-users on the account
    • billing_history – Billing line items (charges and payments)
    • invoices – Account invoices
  • Troubleshooting – Invalid API key and 403/IP access control blocking

Eager-graph budgets are report-only until a baseline is established. Sizes are gzip of public/**/*.js; eager size is webpack module source bytes for the modules actually shipped in the entrypoint's initial chunks (post-tree-shake).
