👋 About Me

I'm a Systems & Computing Engineer from Colombia 🇨🇴, receiving my degree in September 2026. Over the years I've built things across a wide range of layers — from microcontroller firmware and physical server racks to distributed backend systems and AI pipelines. I wouldn't call myself an expert in everything, but I genuinely enjoy understanding how systems work end-to-end, and I find that breadth useful when solving problems that don't fit neatly into one discipline. My strongest areas are backend architecture with .NET, applied AI and LLM orchestration, and Linux-based infrastructure and DevOps. I'm comfortable owning a project from the hardware layer all the way to production deployment.

🌱 Blueberry Water Stress Detection (AIRT)

Research Seedbed LINUDECX · International Recognition

End-to-end IoT pipeline for precision agriculture. Low-cost thermal imaging hardware (ESP32) feeds a machine learning pipeline using Random Forest and LSTM/GRU networks, with an LLM layer orchestrated via RAG architecture. Fully deployed on a Linux server with automated CI/CD.

🌿 BioKudi — Ecotourism Platform

Full architectural evolution from prototype to distributed system

Built and scaled a platform for discovering ecotourism destinations across three architectural generations: Java/JSP prototype → .NET 7 monolith → .NET 8 + React distributed ecosystem. Real-world experience with software scaling, relational database design, and continuous deployment in production.

🖥️ Self-Hosted Homelab Infrastructure

Enterprise-grade bare-metal cluster running 24/7

Physical server cluster (Lenovo TS440, Xeon, ECC RAM, SAS RAID) managed with Proxmox for hypervisor-level virtualization and Docker/Podman for service isolation. Exposed securely via Cloudflare Tunnels with no open ports, private networking through Netbird/Tailscale, and full SSL/TLS certificate management.
