Rescue coherent-systems draft onto the current repository structure

Purpose

Preserve the substantive research from former draft PR #6 without merging its pre-cleanup repository structure. This is a technical rescue and routing pass, not approval of the paper or its claims. PR #6 is now closed without merge and points here.

Preserved

• all 12 files in research/papers/coherent-systems/ from revision 5c15f7f
• the v0.1-dev status, 12-section paper, 12-claim ledger, 10 questions, three research tasks, nine bibliography entries, source map, objections, and AI-assistance disclosure
• the existing resume point at section 4 / C-003; T-003 remains unrun
• the useful Thought Routing, Legible Systems, and historical UCF additions from Living paper v0.1-dev: evidence, author input, and linked practice #6

Reconciled

• places the paper under a current research/ index
• updates retired core/legible-systems.md routes to concepts/legible-systems.md
• integrates cross-domain additions into current canonical files instead of restoring core/
• adds current README, repository-map, and Idea Trail navigation
• updates the audit follow-up record for closed PRs Living paper v0.1-dev: evidence, author input, and linked practice #6 and Review: clearer project identity, founder credit, and accessible theme controls #7 and merged Wiki PRs Organization cleanup and ecosystem migration backlog — August 2026 #1 and Adopt Idea Trail metadata across high-signal documents #2
• leaves the approved website source unchanged

Approval boundary

Rae Lovejoy approved the technical preservation, placement, repaired routes, and navigation on 2026-09-18. This approval does not extend to the manuscript’s claims, sources, byline, reviewed-release status, DOI, empirical results, or website publication.

Verification

• all paper files match Living paper v0.1-dev: evidence, author input, and linked practice #6 except the two expected routing/history files: AGENTS.md and CHANGELOG.md
• reader-documentation check passes for 153 Markdown files
• Idea Trail graph validates and its generated index is current
• all 11 website publication tests pass
• paper structure remains 12 sections, 12 claims, 10 questions, 3 tasks, and 9 bibliography entries
• external destinations return successfully except the INFORMS publisher page, which returns HTTP 403 to automated requests and remains an access-inconclusive publisher citation
• whitespace check passes

Continuing research boundary

Merging this rescue places the explicitly labeled working draft on main; it does not turn that draft into an approved paper. Substantive review remains parked at section 4 / C-003, and T-003 remains unrun.
