FastAPI 0.144.0, 0.145.0 and 0.146.0 were released on 2026-10-18. Between 0.143.5 and
0.146.0 the only changed modules are
fastapi/__init__.py(the version string),fastapi.applicationsandfastapi.security; the modules this router imports from(
fastapi.routing,fastapi.params,fastapi.exceptions,fastapi.datastructures,fastapi.openapi.utils) are byte-identical. The changes are WebSocket support insecurity dependencies, the removal of
openapi_prefixand the deprecation of theroot_pathparameter ofFastAPI, none of which the router uses. The test suite passeson 0.144.0, 0.145.0 and 0.146.0.
