Summary

  • First question: install.sh asks which GitHub repository to install and update from. Press Enter for SpaceWorks-HQ/SpaceWorks, or type a fork as owner/name.
  • Skipping the question: --repo owner/name (or --repo=owner/name) or SPACEWORKS_REPOSITORY sets it up front.
  • No release, no install: a repository with no published release is refused with a clear message, telling the forker to run its Continuous Release workflow once.
  • README:
    • a minimal "Install in one line" block at the top of Quick start, covering the main project and forks;
    • full fork instructions, including making a fork's GHCR images public so servers can pull them.

The upstream images were checked to be anonymously pullable.

Verification

  • bash -n clean.
  • Installer and questionnaire tests: 44 passed, including new tests for --repo, --repo=, the fork prompt and bad arguments (usage and no download).

The installer's first question is which GitHub repository to install
and update from (Enter = main project); --repo owner/name or
SPACEWORKS_REPOSITORY skips it. A repository with no published release is
refused with a clear message. README gets a one-line install section and
the fork steps, including making a fork's images public.
