New Python post on the LiteLLM 1.107.0 compromise (Oct 21): how to check envs, lock files, pip/uv caches and images, what to rotate, and what PyPI provenance could and could not have shown.
Numbers come from the new public repo https://github.com/The-DevOps-Daily/pypi-provenance-check: litellm's attestation history, the v1.106.2 image provenance, and a survey of attestations on the 1,000 most downloaded PyPI projects plus 44 AI-stack projects (39.0% attested, 33.4% attested by the repo their metadata names).
Cover image in a separate commit. Repo homepage still to be set after merge.
