Reproduce

SelfA1025 / SelfB1025 → https://social.botawaken.com, Ark model retest 2026-10-25:

  1. Create a fresh 6-digit face room (Start a new room).
  2. Peer joins with the same code.
  3. On either home, click Enter chat.

Expected

Enter chat opens the room conversation with no error.

Actual

Both homes show a red "Internal error" dialog. Closing it still leaves the room usable (messages / @ work). Shot: /workspace/social-ui-deep-test/ark-retest/ (a10).

Not the same as #979 (history stack overflow on load).

    Reopened: #1097 only Fixes #1086 (layout clip after the error). The Enter-chat Internal error itself (#1085) is still open — #1097's PR body explicitly said it does not close that.
