Filament materials guide: evolve it toward the materials TigerTag identifies #35

Description

@BenGlut

#34 was merged as a first version, to be evolved over time. These are the directions raised in review, so they are not lost.

Anchor it to the protocol's own list

The protocol already has a material vocabulary: database/id_material.json in TigerTag-RFID-Guide, 113 entries with an id, a density and a filled type. No generic filament guide can offer that mapping, and today the guide's names do not line up with it:

Guide says The reference database has
PLA Silk/Wood PLA Silk and PLA Wood, separately
PETG High Speed PETG HS (and a distinct PETG HF)
PEI (Ultem) PEI-1010 and PEI-9085, two different grades
TPU 85A / 95A / 60D to check

Using the protocol's exact names, and linking each card to its entry, is what would make this page belong to TigerSystem rather than to any 3D-printing site.

Say what the temperature ranges are for

A TigerTag carries the manufacturer's exact nozzle and bed temperatures, drying temperature and drying time. The guide's ranges are generic ballpark figures, and the page never says so in relation to the chip. The wording should make them the fallback for a spool that does not carry its own values, not the reference.

Prices

21 €/kg ranges with no date. They go stale, and the wiki otherwise keeps prices out of its pages (see support.md). At minimum: a "checked on" date; better: drop them or move them out.

Ratings worth a second look

  • UV resistance: PETG and ASA are both "Excellent", which erases the main reason ASA exists.
  • Strength /10: ASA scores 10, like PC and above ABS (8), though ASA is mechanically an ABS. The scores cite no source or method.

Placement

At 480+ lines it is reference material rather than a guide ("shorter and more targeted than tutorials", per guides/README.md). It may belong in a reference section once it is anchored to the database.
