Version: 0.1 Draft
The Humanoid Constitution defines machine-enforceable governance for humanoid robots.
The Constitution defines rules, priorities, authority domains, and governance objects that determine whether proposed physical activity is authorized.
Unlike a conventional application policy file, the Constitution is intended to participate in runtime control of physical authority across the humanoid system.
- Mission Authority
- Ownership
- Custody
- Trust
- Human Contact
- Tool Use
- Safety
- Validator Selection
- Release Authorization
Examples include:
- Mission Objects
- Capability Objects
- Validator Objects
- Human Objects
- Tool Objects
- Trust Objects
- Release Tokens
- Execution Manifests
Humanoid OS provides the runtime environment in which constitutional rules and objects may be loaded, evaluated, and enforced.

Execution Governance
The Constitution and TrustBoundary are complementary.
Humanoid Constitution defines applicable rules, authority, priorities, and governance domains.
TrustBoundary is a runtime candidate-action validation and authorization point at which applicable constitutional rules, robot state, predictions, policies, and validators may be evaluated before physical execution.

Robot Hardware
PAIOS is the embodiment-independent Physical AI architecture. Humanoid OS specializes that architecture for humanoids, while the Humanoid Constitution provides humanoid-specific machine-enforceable governance within that runtime environment.
