📦 Installation

⚡ Quick Install

No external dependencies required! W8TermuxStylePro uses only Python standard libraries. Just install Python and you're ready to go!

For Termux (Android)

Step 1: Update Termux Packages

pkg update && pkg upgrade -y

Step 2: Install Python

pkg install python -y

Step 3: Install Dependencies (Optional)

Step 4: Install Git (Optional - for cloning)

pkg install git -y

Step 5: Download the Generator

Option A: Using Git (Recommended)

Option B: Manual Download

cd ~
mkdir W8TermuxStylePro
cd W8TermuxStylePro

Step 6: Run the Generator

python W8TermuxStylePro.py

Step 7: Follow the On-Screen Instructions

Select your style (1-100)
Enter your name/handle
Choose your color (1-9)
Done! Your terminal will auto-start on next launch

For Linux

Step 1: Ensure Python is Installed

# For Debian/Ubuntu
sudo apt update
sudo apt install python3 -y

# For Fedora
sudo dnf install python3 -y

# For Arch
sudo pacman -S python

Step 2: Install Dependencies (Optional)

🗑️ Removal

Uninstall Your Terminal

If you want to remove the custom terminal and restore default:

Method 1: Using the Generator

python W8TermuxStylePro.py

Method 2: Manual Removal

# Remove generated files
rm -f ~/welcome.sh ~/launcher.sh ~/README.md

# Edit .bashrc and remove the lines containing:
# - "Terminal Auto-Start"
# - "source" with welcome.sh or welcome_advanced.sh

nano ~/.bashrc

# Reload shell
source ~/.bashrc

What Gets Removed?

✓ All generated terminal files (welcome.sh, launcher.sh, README.md)
✓ Auto-startup entries from .bashrc
✓ Custom prompt configuration
✓ Your terminal returns to default Termux/Linux prompt

🔧 Troubleshooting

Issue: Permission Denied

# Make sure the script is executable
chmod +x Terminal_Generator.py

Issue: Python Not Found

# Install Python
pkg install python -y  # Termux
sudo apt install python3 -y  # Linux

Issue: Custom Prompt Not Showing

# Reload your shell configuration
source ~/.bashrc

# Or close and reopen terminal
exit

Issue: Colors Not Displaying

# Check if your terminal supports colors
echo $TERM

# Should show: xterm-256color or similar
# If not, add to .bashrc:
export TERM=xterm-256color

Issue: ASCII Art Not Displaying Correctly

Make sure you're using a terminal with UTF-8 encoding
Use a monospace font for best results
Increase terminal font size if needed

Issue: Auto-Startup Not Working

# Check if .bashrc exists
ls -la ~/.bashrc

# If not, create it
touch ~/.bashrc

# Re-run the generator
python W8TermuxStylePro.py

Issue: Want to Regenerate with Different Style

# Option 1: Run generator again (it will auto-fix)
python W8TermuxStylePro.py

# Option 2: Remove first, then generate
# Select [101] Remove, then run again
