💡 What: Replaced external os.system("chown -R 1000:1000 /target/home/shane/") with native Python os.chown and integrated it into the existing os.walk loop in cidata_ingest.py. Also addressed minor shellcheck warnings in checkin.sh and pre-install-wizard.sh.
🎯 Why: Spawning a subshell to run chown creates unnecessary overhead, and doing so immediately before an os.walk block results in redundant directory traversals. Shellcheck warnings should be addressed proactively to maintain bash script health.
📊 Impact: Eliminates a subshell fork and reduces directory traversals from 2 to 1 in cidata_ingest.py, significantly improving the speed of the ingestion script.
🔬 Measurement: Verified that tests pass via python3 -m pytest and that the shell scripts now pass shellcheck *.sh with no errors. The new log entry can be found in .jules/bolt.md.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 13078817584139406622 started by @WHYCRASH

Replaced the external `os.system("chown ...")` command with native python `os.chown` and merged it into the existing `os.walk` loop in `cidata_ingest.py`. This avoids the overhead of spawning a subshell and reduces directory traversals. Also fixed `read` and `exec` shellcheck warnings in `pre-install-wizard.sh` and `checkin.sh`. Added a journal entry to `.jules/bolt.md` documenting the optimization.
