Configuration structure

Items to configure:

fastcgi servers
number concurrent connections per fastcgi servers
timeouts?
what is in the nginx configs?
mappings (.php -> server, /path/ -> server, ???)
diag mode? adding specific headers to fastcgi server to inform the fastcgi server about the state of the system?

Global configuration: (which file, which items to config?)

Remap configuration.... (example which points to configuration)

Examples:

having 1 fastcgi server + mapping
having 1 fastcgi server + mapping via remap.config
having 2 fastcgi servers + mappings
having 2 fastcgi servers + mappings via remap.config
