As of 31 Oct 2025, Python 3.9.x legacy has reached its end of support, resulting in the discontinuation of security updates and general widespread availability: https://endoflife.date/python

Use Cases

Consequently, this is to inform you that the 3.9.x and 3.8.x legacy versions will no longer be supported starting with deffcode v0.2.7. As a result, from version v0.2.7 onwards, vidgear may not function correctly with these legacy versions, and any related issues or bugs will not be addressed in future releases.
