Legacy Regular Tree variants have no authorized runtime collision; species
records retain only their supplied trunk-only guidance.

## Inner Keep 3D runtime selection

The public Warpkeep-Assets release
[`inner-keep-3d-asset-library-2026-08-02`](https://github.com/ael-dev3/Warpkeep-Assets/releases/tag/inner-keep-3d-asset-library-2026-08-02)
contains a 234,962,670-byte archive with SHA-256
`f13bc9e7b8e32a6767b1959307a202d894123f384e11fd19550d75e0dfe5f6c9`.
Ael authorized its public archival and GitHub Release distribution. The release
does not grant one blanket open-content license, and runtime designation or
archive presence does not itself authorize live-game integration.

On 2026-08-04, Ael instructed the project to use Warpkeep-Assets 3D objects in
the official Inner Keep and to make the Grand Covenant Cathedral its main
building. Warpkeep records that owner-authorized exact subset as 114 GLBs and
six PNG previews at
selection digest
`00304c5dbf819cec6cb656996c1105f64efcf36acf8099c431f5b04b822679f0`.
The exact content-addressed outputs are authorized for the public
`ael-dev3/Warpkeep` repository and official `warpkeep.com` client. The Grand
Covenant Cathedral is the permanent northern civic and visual anchor; the
Hegemony Shieldcourt Barracks is the western garrison anchor.

This is exact runtime-use authorization only. The subset remains
`LicenseRef-Warpkeep-Provenance-Required`; committing and serving these files
does not establish ownership, relicense the source archive, grant a general
derivative or redistribution right, authorize an unlisted or substitute file,
grant trademark or canonical-identity rights, or approve activation, merge, or
deployment. Mixed source terms and provenance continue to apply.

Three separately authorized existing tree families may be reused under their
existing dated record; that permission does not extend to the three newly
selected archive tree families. The complete allowlist, 38 asset records, 114
model hashes, six preview hashes, exclusions, audit procedure, and exact owner
decision are in the dated
[Inner Keep asset selection record](docs/reference/assets/2026-08-02-inner-keep-3d-library/).

## Inner Keep citizens, mounts, and patrol units

On 2026-08-04, Ael instructed the project to use characters, mounts, and army
units from Warpkeep-Assets in the official Inner Keep runtime, including
animated civic routines and patrols. The exact selection contains eight
citizens and twelve army units. Six of the twenty characters are mounted. The
runtime set contains one Balanced rigged GLB and one Compact static GLB per
character, for 40 content-addressed files and selection digest
`79237fbe85a4db7a0592eb0c27cc00f8e72e85e58be867bec4dd35992f0b87f7`.

The files come from the public Warpkeep-Assets releases
[`hegemony-citizens-keep-services-2026-08-03`](https://github.com/ael-dev3/Warpkeep-Assets/releases/tag/hegemony-citizens-keep-services-2026-08-03)
and
[`hegemony-unit-corps-2026-08-03`](https://github.com/ael-dev3/Warpkeep-Assets/releases/tag/hegemony-unit-corps-2026-08-03).
The citizen archive has SHA-256
`14a8bda3848ede5b398a7fc4ec10e56d98ae06584c42f4683cb2635c5bbb6aeb`.
The Infantry, Ranged, and Cavalry archives have SHA-256
`953fcca256324f2a73b3f13e2ca04911349a0f69934337e6ac7161041a2d4ba0`,
`310b0feaf21f0619f1d10f154facd64f98ce3ad1658cf80bb4dd68f5847a0391`,
and `9d411ee308abacfd7ca93b1e96594cc4f9e8af613f6d18aca3128b49dfb9a48b`.

This is exact official-runtime use authorization, not a new public license.
The files remain `LicenseRef-Warpkeep-Provenance-Required`. Their repository
presence does not establish ownership, relicense either source release, grant
general redistribution or derivative rights, authorize substitute files, or
approve activation, merge, or deployment. The ambient actors are client-only
presentation. Their routes, conversations, models, and animation clips never
claim authority over units, movement, collision, chat, identity, resources,
rewards, or combat.

The complete actor list, archive and manifest pins, per-file hashes, LODs,
triangle counts, clip sets, installation policy, and exact authorization are in
the dated [Inner Keep population selection record](docs/reference/assets/2026-08-04-inner-keep-population/).

## Inner Keep Lowlands Rabbit wildlife

The public Warpkeep-Assets release
[`rabbit-runtime-ui-bundle-2026-07-30`](https://github.com/ael-dev3/Warpkeep-Assets/releases/tag/rabbit-runtime-ui-bundle-2026-07-30)
contains the Lowlands Rabbit runtime family. Its 2,717,585-byte outer ZIP has
SHA-256
`cf40e6c7149635a8cf6439e618e951219770491a7f364e7776b8af128461a3a9`.
The nested privacy-sanitized source package is 2,710,713 bytes with SHA-256
`1ab9a02a39e68a3ddadcec4ac1824aafaf252f9cb068511e6341d2377f256dc3`.
The release records public archival distribution as authorized by Ael, with
no separate open-license grant asserted. Its source status is
`public-archive-authorized-no-separate-open-license`.

On 2026-08-04, Ael instructed Warpkeep to use the official Lowlands Rabbit
outside the Inner Keep so the surrounding world feels alive. That instruction
authorizes the exact High, Balanced, and Compact content-addressed GLBs under
`public/models/hegemony/inner-keep/wildlife/rabbit/` for the public
`ael-dev3/Warpkeep` repository and official `warpkeep.com` client. It does not
relicense the source archive, authorize unrelated reuse or substitute files,
or approve activation, merge, or deployment. The files remain
`LicenseRef-Warpkeep-Provenance-Required`.

Rabbit models and animations are optional client presentation only. They do
not define animal population, collision, pathing, resources, rewards,
ownership, or any other gameplay authority. High and Balanced scene quality
use the Balanced rig by default; reduced quality and reduced motion use the
Compact static LOD. The High rig is retained only as an explicit close-detail
option. The complete release pins, source-member hashes, animation contract,
three model digests, exclusions, and reproducible audit procedure are in the
dated [Lowlands Rabbit runtime selection record](docs/reference/assets/2026-07-30-lowlands-rabbit/).

## Historical Hegemony Frontier Keep provenance

The Hegemony Frontier Keep and its former runtime derivatives were project-provided media supplied for this repository. The 63 MB source remains byte-for-byte identifiable through its technical record but is not present in the current tree or a public release while redistribution authority is unresolved. The three former runtime derivatives are also retired and absent; their future license follows the source-rights determination, not the fact of conversion.

## [Unreleased]

- Prepared the inactive Inner Keep V1 foundation as one server-authoritative
construction loop: twelve fixed slots, four five-level economy buildings,
one internal Builder, exact resource recipes, offline completion, and a
functional portrait-first fallback.
- Added an additive v15 schema with fail-closed rollout controls. A merge to
protected `main` triggers the existing verified Pages deployment, but the
compatible client remains dormant. Module publication, catalog seeding,
Builder backfill, runtime asset verification, and activation still require
separate owner review. The guarded publisher accepts only an explicitly selected
active-v14-to-inactive-v15 lane with exact preflight and postflight checks;
that source path does not itself authorize publication.
- Installed the owner-authorized Inner Keep selection at immutable paths: 38
environment assets across 114 GLBs, six catalog previews, and 20 ambient
actors across 40 GLBs. This does not activate, merge, or deploy the feature.
- Built a living presentation around the Grand Covenant Cathedral and western
Barracks with a larger 1,454-square-meter walled city, roomier build sites,
dirt wall aprons, district lanes, staggered authored trees, mounted patrols,
civic conversations, dense wind-swept grass, deterministic clearances,
bounded animation, and atomic fail-safe asset loading.
- Extended that presentation beyond the walls with nine named landforms, one
connected headwater-to-lake course, a rounded terrain shoulder across a
68 x 76 meter estate, quality-scaled fields and six-species woodland, scenic
resource structures and a trade wagon, outer patrols, and rabbits. Exact
optional wildlife can fall back independently to bounded procedural animals;
every exterior element remains visual-only and grounded by the same
deterministic terrain sampler.
- Prepared an optional **Enable Admission Alerts** step after a confirmed access
request. It remains fail-closed behind a default-off release gate until the
owner-controlled signed notification canary is complete, and never affects
