The Plan toggle's state only lives in a webview variable, so closing and reopening the panel (or restarting VS Code) silently reset it to off — the user believed plan mode was still active and Claude went straight to making changes (andrepimenta#147). The toggle now reports changes to the extension host (planModeChanged -> workspaceState 'claude.planModeEnabled') and the host restores it during webview init via restorePlanMode, next to the existing input-draft restore. UI classes (switch + button) are applied on restore; the webview state stays authoritative while the webview is alive. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
