The spark-4.2 profile went straight from preview4 to the released 4.2.0 in #4960 (884e0a6), so there is no preview5 step to take; pom.xml pins <spark.version>4.2.0</spark.version> and CI builds it. As noted on #4113, the remaining 4.2 item is a dev/diffs/4.2.0.diff so the Spark SQL suite can run against it, which is worth its own issue rather than keeping this one open. Suggest closing.
