@plukevdh, @ezetter, depending upon your use cases, the JRuby bindings may be worth looking into as well. https://github.com/kickstarter/telekinesis. For the applications that I've been running, I've generally found that solution to be more robust. I added the record processor v2 interface on that repo. |

Context:
I was trying to run the kinesis sample and needed to make the following changes for it to run locally. Made a few changes to make it compatible w/ AWS-SDK v2 + relative load paths.
