Add Real-Time Corruptor Launcher. A software suite and emulator manager for applying real-time glitches to video games from Redscientist Labs.

Issues:

  • Emulated games can stutter, and lag behind especially when Game Protection is enabled. UI elements and fonts are slightly flickery.

Workarounds:

  • Enabling discrete_gpu in the bottle parameters seems to fix most of the stuttering issues, even for relatively demanding emulated games applying complex corruptions.

Note:

  • Real-Time Corruptor offers a suite of modified open-source emulators directly downloadable from within the program. Only the Dolphin emulator has been tested at this time.
  • Configuration and dependency advice was taken from this thread

Type of change

  • New installer
  • Manifest fix
  • Other

Was This Tested Using a Local Repository?

  • Yes

Hi, thanks for this contribution. Code looks good to me.

Pending is testing to make sure the installer works as expected. It's easy to test using the version in your repository, check the link in the PR.

I tested this to merge, but there is an issue, RTC_Launcher.exe is not an installer, it is the program itself. Nothing is installed by this script, so the shortcut created does not work. I haven't checked all the actions we have available for the installer scripts, maybe the could be one to just copy the downloaded file to the correct directory.

Anyway, can't merge in the current state. Changing to draft until the issues are fixed.
