See every coding project on your PC in one dashboard. Open them in VS Code, Claude Code, or Codex, back them up safely, and publish to GitHub — all from one app.
Point Coding Drives at the folder where you keep your projects. Every subfolder becomes a card.
From any card you can:
- Open the project in VS Code, File Explorer, or Claude Code / Codex — terminal or desktop app, your choice
- Queue up tasks and send them straight to Claude Code or Codex — the agent works autonomously and reports back, and the task checks itself off
- Back it up safely to a folder you choose
- Publish it to GitHub as a polished public repo — or hand the whole publish to Claude Code / Codex and let it do the work
You can also add a project in seconds — name a new one and it's created in your scan folder, or point at an existing folder to connect it — all from a single field.
Everything runs on your computer. No accounts. No telemetry. No cloud sync.
- Tasks on every project — keep a checklist per card: quick-add, drag to reorder, descriptions, delete with undo
- Send tasks to AI — one click opens Claude Code or Codex in the project folder with the task injected; the agent works hands-free and reports back, flipping the task to ✓ done or ✕ failed on its own (pick your agent in Settings)
- Live task status — a blinking ring while the agent works (orange for Claude, white for Codex), with automatic recovery if a session dies

From source — requires Node.js 20+ and Windows:

- Scan folders — add the root folder where your projects live (e.g.
C:\Users\you\Documents\Code). Every subfolder becomes a card. - Preferences (optional) — toggle language/tech badges, choose whether the Claude/Codex buttons open a terminal or the desktop app, and pick which agent task sends launch.
- Backup destination (optional) — pick where backups should go. Defaults to
Documents\Coding Drives Backupsif you leave it blank. - App logo (optional) — upload your own logo (PNG, ICO, JPG, or SVG) to replace the brand mark.
That's it. Coding Drives rescans whenever the window regains focus, so dropping a new folder into your scan root immediately surfaces it as a card.
Click the checklist icon on any card to open its task list. Add a task, optionally give it a description (what to consider, how you want it done), and hit the send arrow — a terminal opens in that project with Claude Code or Codex already working on it, permissions pre-granted so it runs hands-free.
The agent checks in when it starts and reports back when it's done, so the task's ring blinks while it works and flips to done or failed (with the reason) on its own. Send all queues every open task into a single session, worked in the order you've arranged them. If a session dies or never starts, the task marks itself failed instead of spinning forever — resend it with one click.
Click the ⋯ menu on any project card → Publish to GitHub.
You only need to set this up once: install the GitHub CLI and run gh auth login in a terminal. After that, clicking Publish handles everything — it builds a clean public copy of your project, creates the GitHub repo, generates a README, LICENSE, and issue templates, sets the description and topics, and tags a release.
Prefer to let AI do it? Choose the AI option and Claude Code or Codex runs the publish for you. Already published? The same menu becomes New Release so you can tag and ship a release in a couple of clicks.
The original folder is never modified. The public copy lands in a sibling folder so you always have a clear separation between your private working copy and what's shipped.

There's no build step for the renderer — public/index.html, public/app.css, and public/app.js are vanilla and load directly.
