Replaces every ClippingKK logo on the web with the new mark: a Literata Bold K in pen blue (#2563EB / #60A5FA) over a highlighter band (#F2D675 / #D9B64E). The band is cut apart from the K by a thin gap. It's the app's own marker, applied to its initial. The iOS app gets the same icon in clippingkk/ios-n1 (same branch name).

Changes

  • Header brand and loading screen. The "K" square becomes LogoMark (src/components/shell/logo-mark.tsx), an inline SVG coloured by tokens: fill-lake-accent-text for the K, and a new --app-marker-solid / fill-marker-solid for the band. It follows the theme with no dark: variants.

  • Favicons and manifest. These were loaded from the CDN favicon set; now they come from Next's file conventions in src/app/:

    • favicon.ico (16/32/48)
    • icon.svg, which switches to dark colours under prefers-color-scheme: dark
    • apple-icon.png (180)
    • manifest.ts, with 192/512 icons and a maskable 512 in public/icons/

The favicon sizes use a heavier cut of the K with a fuller band, so they stay legible at 16 px. This drops the stale src/manifest.json (it pointed at football-logo.png) and the msapplication-* tile tags.

  • Open Graph. og:image pointed at an SVG, which share previews don't render. It now uses a 1200×630 PNG cover with the lockup. The Twitter summary card gets the square app icon.

  • Replaced files: logo.png, logo-light.svg, logo-dark.svg, and bootsplash_logo@3x.png in both src/assets and public. The bootsplash file is the logo on shared-clipping cards.

Notes

  • Most pages set their own openGraph through pageMetadata() with no image, so they override the root share image. That was already true before this PR; this PR only replaces the image.
  • I couldn't render the shared-clipping card locally. That route fails in dev at its file:// font fetch, before it reaches the logo. The logo there is a same-size PNG swap.

Testing

  • pnpm lint passes (warnings only, and they were already there); pnpm format:check passes.
  • pnpm typecheck passes, after pnpm codegen and next typegen.
  • pnpm test: 88 files, 695 tests, all pass.
  • Dev server: /manifest.webmanifest, /icon.svg, /favicon.ico, /apple-icon.png and /icons/* return 200, and the <head> has the icon, apple-touch-icon and manifest links. Screenshots of the header on / and /auth look right in light and dark.

A Literata Bold K in pen blue over a highlighter band, cut apart by a
thin gap: the app's own marker, applied to its initial.

- Header brand and the loading screen draw the mark inline (LogoMark),
coloured by tokens; adds --app-marker-solid for the band.
- favicon.ico, a themed icon.svg, apple-icon.png and manifest.ts now
come from the app directory instead of the old CDN favicon set; PWA
icons (192, 512, maskable) live in public/icons. Drops the stale
src/manifest.json and the msapplication tile tags.
- Open Graph uses a PNG cover with the lockup (it pointed at an SVG,
which share previews do not render); the Twitter summary card gets
  the square app icon.
- Replaces logo.png, logo-light.svg, logo-dark.svg and the
bootsplash logo used on shared-clipping cards.

📝 AI summary

Created and refined an elegant new logo system suitable for web and iOS, using Canvas artifacts for the primary composition, standalone mark, app icon, construction, and web variants. The approved visual direction was then translated into reusable application components, most notably src/components/shell/logo-mark.tsx and updates to src/components/shell/brand.tsx.

Applied the new identity across the web experience by updating src/app/layout.tsx, src/app/loading.tsx, src/app/manifest.ts, src/components/og/og-with-index.tsx, and src/styles/theme.css. This aligned visible branding, loading states, installable-app metadata/icons, theme styling, and Open Graph imagery with the new logo. Bash and file inspection/editing tools were used to review the existing app and implement the assets consistently; no native iOS source files were listed as edited.
