Adds a research note on Letta/MemGPT: origin (UC Berkeley MemGPT paper), the LLM-as-OS/self-editing-context idea, classic core/archival/recall memory vs. the newer git-backed MemFS architecture, durable/addressable server-side agent model, subagents, MCP support, deployment (self-hosted App Server vs. Letta Cloud), and the notable lack of A2A support.
