Adds a research note on the Model Context Protocol: origin at Anthropic, the December 2025 governance handoff to the Agentic AI Foundation (Linux Foundation), host/client/server architecture, JSON-RPC base protocol and transports (stdio/Streamable HTTP), server/client-exposed primitives (Tools/Resources/Prompts, Sampling/Roots/Elicitation), the OAuth 2.1 authorization model, the MCP Registry, ecosystem adoption, and known security concerns (prompt injection, tool poisoning, confused deputy). This closes the biggest structural gap in the repo, since MCP is referenced as a tool-integration mechanism in nearly every other framework note. Cross-references
