wasm32-wasip3 adds native support for component model threads in rust 1.100. This side-steps our hacky wit_bindgen::spawn_local usage, which breaks in 0.63. In general, this change is riding the bleeding edge. But we were already doing that with spawn_local. At the moment, there's no other option while implementing the wasi 0.3 APIs. Rust 1.100 is currently beta and should be released next month. We also need to use a custom wasi-sdk and wasi-libc to fully pickup the threading support. These will hopefully converge into stable releases. wasm32-wasip3 by default adds a number of additional wasi imports. We switch to no_std to avoid most of those imports. Other imports are side-stepped by overriding the exported methods. This is likely fragile and may break with bumps to wasi-sdk and/or wasi-libc. Signed-off-by: Scott Andrews <scott@andrews.me>
