phar:///path/to/lib.phar/src/Foo.phpwas turned intophar://path/to/lib.phar/src/Foo.php, which phar resolves relative to the current directory, so scanning an archive referenced by an absolute path failed withFile at "phar://path/..." does not exist. The regex that collapses repeated slashes skipped the one right after:but still matched the next two.
