The documented Claude marketplace currently installs the older plugin bundled in display-dev/skill. Point its existing display-dev@display-dev entry to display-dev/claude-plugin, where the integrated plugin is maintained.

Let the fetched plugin manifest own its version instead of copying the skill package version into the marketplace. Remove that one equality check from CI and contribution guidance, and link the canonical plugin README for component and storage disclosures. Installation commands and plugin identity stay the same.

Validation:

  • Strict Claude marketplace validation: no errors or warnings.
  • Real Claude CLI, isolated empty profiles and local candidate marketplace: fresh installation fetched 0.13.1 from display-dev/claude-plugin; updating an installed 0.9.0 plugin fetched the same 0.13.1 payload. Both bundled skill entrypoints match the integrated source, with references, hooks, and MCP attribution present.
  • Mount and Visualize synchronization, helper trust-boundary suite, hook suite, all 12 packaging/standalone/release-metadata tests, the remaining CI version checks, and whitespace checks passed.

The candidate installation checks use the proposed local marketplace descriptor with its real GitHub source. Public marketplace refresh, upgrade, and live publishing acceptance still need to run after this PR merges. The separate overlapping claude.ai connector behavior is outside this change.
