internal/fakenode serves the drand Public gRPC API, emits one round per second and records emit times. bench_test.go drives GetBeacon, GetLatest, GetNext and the gRPC client through the real handler stack and reports emit-to-delivery latency percentiles for growing numbers of waiters. drandHandler takes the request log writer so benchmarks can discard it.

internal/fakenode, a fake drand node serving the Public gRPC API that emits one round per second and records emit times, andbench_test.go, which drivesGetBeacon,GetLatest,GetNext,GetBeaconNextRoundand the gRPC client through the real handler stack. The round-waiting benchmarks report emit-to-delivery latency percentiles for 1 to 1000 concurrent waiters.drandHandlernow takes the request log writer so benchmarks can discard it. Run withmake bench.
