Hi, I’m @efowler92
Cybersecurity student at WGU focused on building real-world skills through hands-on work.
Lately I’ve been spending most of my time building small apps that connect security concepts to actual workflows. I’m especially interested in how systems behave in real environments, how data is evaluated, and how decisions get made from incomplete information.
Some of what I’ve been working on includes:
- ThreatLens, an OSINT-style triage/search tool that uses real signals and explainable scoring
- HeroBuild, a DnD-style character builder with interactive UI and game-like features
- A risk assessment tool for organizing findings and generating reports
- A phishing awareness app focused on real-world attack patterns
- A CompTIA A+ study app built to reinforce fundamentals through use
I also have experience in AI model training and evaluation, where I worked on reviewing outputs for quality and consistency.
Right now I’m focused on:
- Security fundamentals and compliance concepts
- Networking and system behavior
- IT troubleshooting and support
- Building tools that turn technical concepts into something usable
Currently looking for remote help desk, IT support, or entry-level cybersecurity roles.
