…the page follows the panel, motion with weight Checkpoint before the jury fixes. - One 3D stage for /guide, /guide/build, /guide/play and /guide/make, mounted in app/guide/layout.tsx: moving between them is a scene, not a page load. The hub previews each guide on the device (Build comes apart, Play turns a knob, Make redraws the panel). - The LED panel lights the room: its colours on the floor, the knobs and the bench; discrete LEDs up close; printed-PLA, board and metal materials; a soft focus in close views; an automatic quality step-down. - The page's accent follows the dominant colour of the pattern on the panel, with contrast fenced. - The build guide's 27 steps move with weight: parts land, fit and are pushed home, screws turn, the ribbon behaves like cable, solder wets a joint; the camera works inside each step. - Chapter heads and cards arrive once, a step-progress line, a preloader in the device's pixel face, arrow-key stepping. tsc and eslint clean; vitest 335. A design jury and a technical jury have reviewed this state (35 findings, one blocker in the soft-focus pass); the fixes follow. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Look: the top quality tier draws both its occlusion and its soft focus (they were cancelling), and the lowest tier's edge filter no longer puts raw pixels back on bright edges; saturated patterns glow from afar, not only white; the page accent is the pattern's dominant colour, not a mean of its hues; the quality step-down is timed, not counted in frames; phones get antialiasing; the board shows its copper under a clear-coated mask (F.Cu/B.Cu from the KiCad file); knob tags clear their knobs and stay on a 390 px screen; the Wi-Fi arcs and the stream take the page's accent and stop before the card. Build and world: choosing Build on the hub keeps the device apart into the build's opening instead of putting it back together; the case really fades (the material was never marked changed); the print shader compiles in the background; a per-frame buffer leak on the J3/J4 line is gone; the plates stand on a mat; without WebGL the page stays whole. Interface: the words never wait behind the preloader; card glass really blurs; the accent no longer turns NaN on returning visits or on Make; Make opens on a bright front window; no sideways scroll on phones; focus returns to the console's opener; Pretendard is split by script so an English page no longer downloads 1.5 MB of Hangul for an arrow (a Korean page renders pixel-identical). tsc, eslint, vitest (337) and npm run build pass; both Make playthroughs pass. … and the assembly map The README's docs index leads with the interactive guide (Start here, Build, Play, Make); BUILD_GUIDE opens with a pointer to the 3D build guide and stays the written reference; PATTERN_GUIDE points at the hands-on Make tutorial. CHANGELOG's guide entry records the craft round. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
… current hardware files "Start here" opens /guide/build; the written BUILD_GUIDE is the row under it. "All files" pointed at the v3.0.0 release, which bundles the previous board revision (with the USB-C footprint); it now goes to hardware/README.md, which says which Gerber, BOM and STL to use. …inter, parts you can touch, and a small resident - The camera leans a few degrees toward the pointer, so the device reads as an object in front of you; level while a knob is held, on touch and under reduced motion. - A small light follows the pointer and rakes over the print's layer lines and the board's copper. - On the hub the pointer on the panel turns two knobs a click at a time (hue and speed); the page's accent follows, and the board is given back as it was the moment a guide is pointed at. - In Build, hovering a part lifts it and names it from the BOM, and a line of the parts list lifts its part on the stage. - In Play only what a real hand could do: BOOT and RST can be pressed on the download-mode step. - A small LED critter stands on the hub's rule and on each guide's rail. Left/Right (or A/D) walk it between the guides, Enter goes in; in a guide it runs to the step you are on. It is aria-hidden, takes no focus and covers nothing. 60 fps with the pointer moving; tsc and eslint clean; the guide's 267 tests pass; both Make playthroughs pass. It gave a surface 0.85 against the key light's 2.4. On the white case, already near the top of the range, that left a pale blot under the pointer (peak 246/255 on the hub) and lifted the black knobs to grey. It is 0.26 now (peak 227, no blot, knobs stay black); the part the parts list points at keeps about the same light as before. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
… front of the device The light was a small bulb held in the air just in front of the subject. On the hub the view swings round the device, so the case's near corner and the knobs came through that spot: the closer they swung, the harder they were lit, with a white blot on the knobs when the device stood on the diagonal. (The maker's diagnosis: the light did not follow the rotation.) It is now a narrow, soft-edged spot from beside the camera to where the pointer is, with no fall-off with distance, so every surface gets the same light however the device is turned. Sampled over a full swing with the pointer on the knobs: the blot is gone at every angle. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…ut on demand Builds whose city isn't known sit on their country's centre, so two UK builds had the same coordinates and a third was beside them: three looked like one, however far you zoomed. Builds within 3 degrees now form a group (the UK 3, France 2, northern California 3; no coordinate is moved). At rest a group is one dot with a thin ring per extra build. Hovering or clicking it fans its builds out on an arc sized in screen pixels, each tied by a hairline to its true place and selectable as a normal pin; a first tap opens it on touch, a second picks. Picking a member from the list or by URL holds its group open. Also: the globe holds still while the pointer is on a pin; the selected pin stays LED orange with a halo instead of turning black; a degree or two of pointer parallax (mouse only, off under reduced motion); the list heading counts entries and countries. vitest 368 (14 new for the grouping), tsc and eslint clean. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…her in one click The orange halo on hovered and selected pins is gone (a glow smudged the flat map); the selected pin is black again, as it was. With a build selected, the overlay over the globe took every click and only let the selection go, so reaching another build took two clicks. The overlay now lets the pointer through (its thumbnails, arrows and links still take it): a click on another pin goes straight there, a click on bare globe or beside it lets go. Checked in the browser: nath-uk to shooter-poland in one click, then released by a click on open water. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…d is selected A group opened by hand was ignored whenever a build was selected, so from a selected build the rings would not fan out on hover and a build inside them took a detour to reach. The open group now stands for as long as the selection it was opened under does (it is remembered with that selection, so picking another build closes it without an effect), and the view stays on the selected build until another is picked. Checked in the browser: with shooter-poland selected, hovering the UK's rings fans out its three builds and one click lands on nath-uk. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
After the bulb became a beam it was left at the strength chosen to stop the bulb's blot, and on the Build guide's dark bench and board it all but vanished (about +6% under the pointer). The strength is now set by page: 1.9 on Build (about +17% on the board, a visible pool on the mat), 0.9 on Play and 0.8 on the hub, where the white case sits near the top of the range (peak 225/255 with the pointer on it, no blot).
