Complex Networks project by Francesco Orso Pancaldi.
Follows two papers by Mason A. Porter and others.
Only igraph, since CMake's FetchContent automatically downloads from GitHub both ogdf and sciplot when building the project.
mkdir artifacts
cmake -S . -B build -D CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release
cmake --build build
build/main
scripts/createPng.sh artifacts
All the plots used in the report are in artifacts.
They may be a little different from the report since the random generators are initialized with the output of std::random_device.
The scripts require the bash shell. Use chmod +x scripts/*.sh if they are not executable.
The second command can be replaced by cmake -S . -B build -D CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug to compile with assertions enabled.
The third command can be replaced by cmake --build build --parallel to split the compilation onto all available cpu threads.
The results of the simulations are compared with real world data from the 2013 Delhi election (used in this paper and available here), with a slight modification (explained in the report).
Alternatively, it can be built:
cd latex
latexmk -pdf -output-directory=build -aux-directory=build main.tex
The file is build/main.pdf.
